A good combo is a swath of feverfew growing under a honeysuckle meandering along the top of my 3-board fence. My feverfew blooms from June-July, I cut it back to about 4", then get another bloom from Sept-Nov. One of the last flowers hanging in during the fall.

Growing feverfew is easy and although the plant originates in Europe, it will grow in most climate zones except for where it is really cold. In these cases it can simply be grown indoors. The plant is a bushy perennial that will grow between 18 to 24 inches tall depending on the climate.

All our customers who buy feverfew for migraines are firm believers in the herb. Most chew a leaf when they feel a headache coming on and report relief in about 15 min. Some also make a tea and drink that. I don't know that any take it daily.

Various forms of feverfew grow to heights of between 9 inches and 2 feet. The deeply cut leaves are brightly colored and have a sharp, unpleasantly bitter taste. The flowers, which are produced from summer until mid-fall, are thick and daisy like with yellow centers.
