My 5 week old grunts, strains, kicks, etc. I found Grunting Baby Syndrome on the internet and it seems very similar. He does it mainly in his sleep but some throughout the day. Does anyone know how long this lasts?

They said the phenomenon is known as "Grunting Baby Syndrome", but no mention of if there's anything that can be done to eliminate all that noisy grunting. It is very difficult to sleep through. I hope this is a passing phase.

hehe I was pondering what to do with "newborn grunting"! And now I know there is such thing as "grunting baby syndrome"...there's a syndrome for everything, isn't there? It sounds like your baby is just fine though.
