I have recently noticed that my inner lower gums are turning black. I do not have discomfort or ant other problem. This change should have occurred over the past two weeks. I`d like to find out the cause for this change and if it`s reversible.

my son was a meth user but never had a problem with his gums turning black . he has been in jail for 7 months and in the last couple of months his lower gum in front of the teeth has turned black as charcoal .. this has never happened before and he has not used any kind of drugs since he has been in jail ..
