i didn't even know you dye your hair! it looks so natural and nice all the time! what color do you dye ... I really like those colors but after a few weeks it fades and looks orange to me so I buy shades that are "natural" or "cool," they looks less brassy and of course you can use color protecting shampoo/conditioner...

Brassy highlights; by: Hair Diva; Dark brown hair turns brassy, because the bleach has not lifted the color past the red/orange stage. The best thing you can do ... I want to just color over it, won't mind going back to dark brown, as long as it looks normal (i'd like for it to look like i have some darker highlights still),

It could become orange, purple, etc. Be informed! There's nothing like hair color gone bad. Tip #1- never buy a hair color because it looks good on the box, read the back-it tells you what color you will get with your NATURAL color.;

Pros: Helps to tone and refresh hair color; ... Instead of walking out of the salon last week with the blonde highlights I wanted just in time for spring, I had brassy, orange/pink hair mixed with some green to boot! I used a high lift bleaching blonde kit....now i have orange-ish blondish hair (brassy?)...and where the highlights were, they are almost white. at this point i don't know if i need to use a toner, and if so what kind and color...and what will those do? ... however, the color still looks a bit orange or brassy.

I think with the blonde hair she looks average and I wouldn't look twice at her on the street, but the brown ... I don't think she's ugly at all! She could dye her hair purple and still be cute. I also think that when you first go from dark to blonde you get a brassy, orangey color like she is rocking here. ... orange handbag...
