Well in 99% of cases, that is not the case. Surprisingly, for most people and especially those who lift weights, handstand pushups are far harder to perform than shoulder presses.

Generally I use it to strengthen the muscles nessesary for handstand and freezes and I find it to be a much harder workout than normal pushups. Work these in short bursts especially when first beginning with plenty of rest in between because it puts a TON OF STRESS on the shoulders and forearms.
