Save Hiddenite Gems Emerald Hollow Mine ... Hiddenite, NC 28636 ... My friends and I decided to try our hand at mining even though some of the reviews were not complimentary. We had a great time. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. We went with the full intention of getting wet and dirty.

He was getting some good gold and quartz specimens where he lives. I have often wondered if you guys ever find any Herkimer diamonds as far south as you are.
