I wrote this article quite a long time ago, but with the recent announcement that IBM has ceased production of OS/2, it bears republishing... ... But as history wrote, OS/2 2.0 was theoretically released on March 31, 1992 (though most OS/2 buffs know that it really wasn't generally available until June).
