Yea, you can do it but be aware that your standard television resolutions are much much smaller then pc monitor resolutions. So be prepared for a crappy looking picture unless ya got a pretty nice tv. ... My recomendation is the same as most others, buy yourself a somewhat decent video card that is capable tv-output.
