prairiemoon, I think it takes at least 6 weeks until nasturtiums bloom, then they go crazy. But, they stall with high heat. My guess is that you will have great flowers soon and they sure do love ... I also know I have read many times that they grow and bloom better in lean soil, but you get good results with compost.
