I need a visual aid! Rag curls? Beauty ... When I took the rags out the next day I looked like a sheep! or a poodle! Use what ever image works for you. My hair is long and very thick but baby fine. I have learned the more hair I put in one rag keeps a very nice curl.

My mother used to put rags in my hair overnight. Rip up an old towel or sheet. Once you have washed your hair, comb it through and start rolling the hair up with the rag strips and tie them off. This may work better with a little product of some kind.

It reminded me of when my mother put rags in my hair when I was a child to make ringlets. When Journal’s photographer arrived, I remember thinking that I must look like I’d been run over by a train. I had to keep putting cold pads on the eyes to keep the swelling and bruising to a minimum.

The girls love to put rags in their hair and Angel loves "getting curls" as she calls it. Of course I always remember to get these cute photos of the rags in the hair, but I always forget to take the beautiful pictures the next morning of the bouncing curls....next time I promise!!!
