dont stop taking them just becaues you hear a lot of bad thing about it. if it helps your pain take it and when you dont need it for the pain n.e more tell you doc you want off and he will ween you off it by lowering you doses till you are ...

I am 43 years old and I have been taking 15-20 7.5 Vicodins daily for about 8 months. ... I am terrified and also know that if I do not stop soon, ... I took vicodin long term for back pain and boy did I get myself in a jam. The withdrawals were no bueno!!! But I made it cold turkey and by day 4 I felt better, not great, but better.

Guys, If you want to stop taking Hydrocodone just do it.. You will feel like you have had the worst case of the flu for about two two three days, ... My doctor prescribed a total of 120 vicodin because I had a C-section. Needless to say, I went from taking one every now and then to taking at least 10 a day right now.

There is a thread at babycenter.com, I will try to find the exact name, but I know there are a lot of women on it with Chronic Illness (the name is similar to chronic patients, illness, something) that either kept taking some vicodin all thru pregnancy, or some who were totally weaned...
