I have a beautiful flower box in front of my house, but I have a huge banana tree that I have tried everything to kill and get rid of. It takes all water and nutrients of anything else I plant there.

dig it up from the ground with a shovel or you can cut it down eventualy it will die hope this helps you.=P

Banana trees are hard to kill, you can cut them completely down to the ground and they will start growing again. You have to ether dig out the root or put a wooded or cement cover over the stub's.
