I just make low 4-digit amounts of dollars from adsense every month, so i thought i'd just let them sit and cash in a bunch of them when i get around to it, how long can i wait? i heard they are valid for 6 months if they are 'personal' cheques? ... But yes, in the US it is spelled check, though I do think cheque...

If the situation is discovered in less than 6 months, I require them to either pay the stop-payment charge on the missing check, or they have to wait at least 6 months to confirm the item doesn't come through before I replace it. ... 1) Most banks have a policy that they will not allow you to cash a check more than 6 months old.

Question: We have issued cashier's checks for customers that have not yet cleared after 90 days. Is there a time limit on how long official checks are good? We normally send a letter to the customer asking them to negotiate the checks, and have no problem.
