I just started a running routine a few weeks ago and I love it! I really did not think that it would be fun, but its a real rush. I usually do a t least 2 miles a day 6-7 days per week. It really depends how out of shape they are. I mean, if this person has never run a mile before, they might not even be able to run the whole mile and may have to walk. Most people can walk a mile in under 20 minutes, and usually in 17 or 1...

How long would it take a 4 year old to run a quarter mile?15 minutes? Longer, if at all? But a 25 year old in great physical health could probably do it with ease in under 2 minutes. On the other hand still is an 85 year old.

This will force you to run at a sensible pace. Incorporate a small amount of running into that forth walk. Add another mile to your long session of walk run; ... s time for some of you to walk 200 yards before running again. Pace it right, and most of you will run the whole way. Each mile should take you the same time.
