You are forgetting the timing belt on your interference motor...if the belt goes/breaks it will bend lots of valves and maybe poke a hole in one of the pistons etc... the Clutch in your Civic should last just as long as any other clutch...t...

whats the average lifespan of your clutch? i have 2 friends that need clutch changing right now... one is at 80k miles and the other at 44k (miles on the clutch since the last one replaced); big difference, ... should last 100k+ ... Yea a defect free original clutch as long as not abused should last around 100k miles.

How Long Does The Clutch Last? ... Assuming ALL NSXs are driven in a "sporting manner" all should still last 50-, 60- maybe 75,000 miles if the drivers knows how to use a clutch. If driven by a "LOL" we're talking about a 150,000 mile clutch here.
