Go to the Caron website and see if it's listed there. Inexpensive acrylics often don't tell you the yardage on the label. Most yarn yardages can be found on their company's websites, but yardages vary from company to company and skein/han...

To use the calculator, you will need to: a) look at number of yards (or meters) per skein in the recommended yarn, b) read the pattern to determine then number of skeins they recommend then c) look ... I have some very old skeins of yarn that only list their weight and I need to estimate how many yards are on the skeins.

How many yards in a skein? Interesting question. I think it varies depending on the kind of yarn. However, I did find this information. Can't verify it. I am NOT going to undo a skein to see how many yards it is. ... LOL a 4 oz skein of worsted weight is approx. 190 yards a 4 oz skein of sports weight is approx.

The wrapper said the ball has about 127 yards, but I swear it's got more than that. This stuff lasts forever (which is good, for the price of one ball). I do believe I'll finish the shawl I started out of one skein.
