It bothers me secondly because I think it ought to be possible for people to be professional foster parents and be respected for doing it. Doctors, teachers, and hair dressers all get paid to do what they do. Getting paid does not ... Just wanted to add a short note that some states have much lower monies for clothing.

And that reason was they didn't treat their foster parents good. Now, I am with a great agency that values us as thier greatest resource. No, I am not endorsing, or recruiting for anyone. We even get paid vacation!

There is no across the board price each state even each county in the state set the price based on need. In bigger counties and cities if there is a need they get paid more. Across the board though it is not enough to raise a child properly...

That should have nothing to do with wanting or thinking of becoming a foster parent, nothing. All provider parents are paid a daily rate for clients for which they are responsible.
