Does anybody have a clue on how much it would be to geld a stallion? Any estimates or comments on it all very much appreciated. THANKS GUYS ... timmy cost £200. and hes a shetland i thought that it wouldnt be as much but it was probally around the same as a 'fulll sized horse'

There are the few geldings that still display stallion like behaviors but most of the time unless the vet has botched the job then they should behave like geldings..... The cost to geld is also much less expensive if you geld them when they are young. ... in my opinion it is best to geld a colt when he is still with his dam,

How much does it cost? Would it make the mare less "mareish"? lol I know when you geld a stud colt......it's because then they won't act studdish. I didn't know if it would be the same with a mare. haha ; I know that this is an odd question but I am just curious.
