Well take off really requires a pilot then he can set the the auto,and the flight computer pretty much could take over but there are a lot of variance the computer wont do, like look out for traffic, if there is a malfunction on board, Change of altitude for turbulence etc ... Question about airplane tires?

I'd like to know who reassured you that turbulence cannot cause a plane accident. It can, and it does. It's the reason why airport traffic controllers won't let a plane take off until they're sure that wake turbulence created by the previous aircraft has had time to settle.
