Do you think that even if you are as tall as Vince Carter and have his vertical leap you'd be able to dunk the way he does it? Hell no! ... Another way you can do it is, if you decide to dunk with two hands. This helps if you are not as tall as your defender but you are little stronger.

6'0'' can grab rim but not dunking. That's some of my inspiration to really increase my vertical. I don't play school basketball anymore but I'm in a recreational league and being able to dunk for that next year would be awesome.

you dont have to be a certain height to dunk. a rim is 10 feet IF YOU DIDNT KNOW.i know someone 5'10 ... it doesnt matter how tall you are. its how long your arms are and your vertical jump. between your arms, height and vertical jump you need to be able to go a few inches over ten feet so you can get the ball over the rim.
