I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but my home line is a private number. I don't dial *82 to unblock it when I call my cell. When I look at the call log online, or when the detailed bill comes in, my home number shows up as well as other numbers that appear to be "restricted" on my handset.

Today I have recieved about 6 calls from "restricted", i.e., in my missed calls list they are listed as "restricted". There is no call back number listed and any attempt to hit send and call back on these missed calls to find out what is going on delivers a message from the phone of: invalid number.
