I have a great dark purple sweater that got lavender fuzz balls on it from the lining of my jacket. I need to defuzz it. I tried a lint roller but it didn't help at all. I figure I need to buy a sweater shaver but don't know what to look for in a good one.

A. I have always used a disposable razor to take fuzz balls off my sweaters and it works great and you can use the same razor again and again! Just light run the razor along the sweater and the fuzz balls come right off!

This will remove the pile (fuzz) that you just removed and make it easier to see how much of it is still actually on the sweater. If you find that you are having a problem with the lint sticking and refusing to be shaken off easily, try using a lint brush on it or some tape (simple transparent tape).

I have found a remedy on how to remove fuzz balls and get that sweater looking brand new again! This tecnique may come as a surprise to you, but believe me I care for my sweaters like this all the time and they come out looking brand new.
