The product is called Stitch Witchery and you need to reheat it to remove it. Get your iron very hot, no steam, and put a cloth over the gummy area, and hold it over about 10 seconds, then remove the cloth, and it should pull off with the cloth.

The way you remove this from your iron is to use a dryer fabric softener sheet & a paper towel... Try putting the Dryer sheet on top of the stitch witchery, then iron, on top of the dryer sheet, then put a paper towel on the spot, then iron, & Repeat several times till you see if it works...
