This is not a guide to keep you from heaving, ... It will also give you something to listen to besides your stomach creating a void within. - drink some water. I can not stress this one enough. Not only will it prevent you from becoming dehydrated it will also stop those terrible dry heaves & begin something more productive.

eating is the last thing I want to do when I'm dry heaving. when it happens I just either take some water or soup...it will eventually pass, just make sure you're well hydrated (and/or not still hammered) before you go to sleep next time.
