Almost always when I try to open up a page on the web I get the "page can not be displayed" error and on the bottom of that it says something about being unable to find server or that there is a DNS-error. That happens in both IE6 and Firefox 1. Often a click or two on the refresh button brings the page up...

IE6 DNS/page cannot be displayed error but netscape is fine Internet / Browsers ... when i am online, i can access webpages through netscape just fine. However, when i open internet explorer, i get the dns/page cannot be displayed message. i know there is something wrong with ie but when i uninstalled ... i have ie6 on a CD.

A note on the pages you said displayed wonkily in IE6 - I noticed you were using < >'s to contain descriptions under your headers. Could that be ... It's still kinda problematic because they are completely invisible to me in the text inside the editor (both IE and Firefox), yet they show up on the page when viewed in IE.
