I hear india ink is poisonous, but at a couple of science sites I looked at it said that jailhouse tattoos have no adverse effects at all, and india ink is really only poisonous if you drink like a gallon.

--- I tried it and got a bit done but I'm having a bit of difficulty keeping the ink on the tip of the pin. It simply slides off most of the time and i'm having to prick my skin and then let the ink seep in which takes forever.
