The approach around here (Michigan) is to install a plastic sump (basin) below the concrete basement floor and use a sewage ejector pump (also called a lift pump) to pump out the waste when the sump gets full. ... but I won't comment on that! This has been done MANY times before, so you should have no technical problems.

Gene, I had a sewage ejector in a former house and would not recommend them. I had to have it rebuilt shortly after moving in. It worked ok after that, but I never could get rid of ... If you do install an ejector, make sure it is a proper installation and have an alarm installed to warn if the pump stops working. Scott ;
