Using the prong collar allowed me to take over the pack leader role and DK is much happier because of it. Its unfortunate that people just look at the collar and think its a torture device and think of me as a horrible and cruel dog owner.

People using collars with out the snap release (that I have come across) tend to pull them off over the head instead of undoing a prong. Thus, they don't have the collar fitted right if they can pull it off over the head and are risking injury to the eyes....
