It all goes back to a few late-night brainstorms with a buddy (now owner of the prototype Interdiction RIfle Serial #001), a computer ballistics program, the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, a vintage .256 Newton, and too much time wondering "what-if?" How does one accomplish this "what-if"?

It is generally held that the Scouts recommend interdiction to shield a young or sensitive culture from the interference that trade and commerce will bring. The Navy is held to be more vindictive in its recommendations, for they use interdiction to punish local governments or to hide its own mistakes.

As an associate of this organization, I was honored to be asked to observe and document several days of a new (seven months old) Interdiction Unit here in the state of Florida. As continuing education in scent discrimination wherein it applies to "search and search techniques" this opportunity was excellent!
