When our organization was developed in 1999, it began with mostly interstate interdiction officers. As time has passed, we have developed into a multi-faceted organization with a very diverse membership of Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement representation.

The special operations division consists of the narcotics, street crimes, and interstate interdiction units. Members of these units are all certified police officers who have specialized training in specific areas of law enforcement.

Since January 1 of this year, the Task Force’s Interstate Interdiction Unit has been responsible for the arrests of 88 individuals and the seizure of 39 vehicles. The Interdiction Unit has seized a street value of approximately $10,167,600 worth of drugs from vehicles it has stopped on interstates.
