So I will go forth with using the iron on tape. ... My skills at hand blindstitching are not good. Therefore, has anyone used iron on hem tape and does it work well? Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm not a sewing person but I've heard about this hemming tape - either just heavy-duty stuff you tape on or iron on, and I have no clue where to get it. Help? ... At least you won't take the chance of having your "hem" fall. I've used the iron-on stitching before but never used them on denim. Let us know how...

Press with an iron again as the directions say on the hem tape package. I used to use hem tape before I learned how to sew, and now I prefer to hem things by sewing them, but if you use the hem tape as the instructions direct you to, it'll look fine and hold up in the wash very well.

For the bottom hem, I used iron-on hemming tape (similar to this). One simple curtain rod from Target (around $2) later, and we have bathroom curtain. It may not be to everyone’s taste, but we are extremely pleased with how it turned out.
