I would say if someone had problems with water in the gas it would not be so much a problem with ARCO gas but a problem with the franchisee - the owner of the station. Maybe they are cutting their gas or have bad tanks.

Report: ARCO GAS STATION #5999 ... There was no automatic shut-ff in pump #11. What I also noticed was the pump next to pump #11 did the same to the car behind mine. Gas just kept on pouring the the floor. I mean if the pump was working fine it should automatically stop when tank is already full.

Hello Brian, I am Alessandro, and I would like to know if Arco gas is bad for your car. ... ARCO is a discounted gasoline brand. Doesn't all gas come from the same commodities market? Is there ever a reason to buy expensive gas when the station next door offers the same octane level at a cheaper price?

Otherwise I go with Arco. There was a report on NPR yesterday going through the old myth that cheaper gas is bad for your car. AAA apparently did a study a year or two ago and found that there was absolutely no diffrence between the more expensive brands and the off named brands.
