With any tattoo, during the healing process you need to keep the tattoo exposed to fresh air, and keep it from getting rubbed by clothing (or in this case, shoes). Most people cannot go without wearing shoes for the two weeks that tattoos take to heal.

Here are pictures (albeit bad ones) of my tattoos. Both were done at ProInk Tattoo in York by Bob. I'm sure Bob has a last name, but I don't know it. ;-) I had some problems with the toe tattoo, but overall, it's a good place and I'll probably go there for the next tattoo (if I decide to get another one).
