I think swearing is only bad when you hurt another and if it extends your hate. Simply not swearing is a personal opinion and NOT somthing that need be said in Bible study, it's NOT a pre-requirement to being saved and it's absolute nonsense if someone tells you you can't to be a Christian.

A teen who is swearing is typically not taking any of this into account. It’s probably that a teen who swears simply does not yet understand the power of words. You can approach swearing and bad language like you approach other lessons you teach your children: matter-of-factly and with love.
