John is the current Director of the Geo-Heat Center at the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) and has worked in the direct utilization of geothermal energy for over 32 years. He has a B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, and a M.E. from the University of California, Berkeley, all in Civil Engineering.
