For the record, my working definition of 'to iterate' is "to perform a step or sequence of steps which isble to be repeated" vs. 'to reiterate' which I've always taken to mean "to repeat a step or series of steps which one has previously undertaken." In brief the difference in my mind between iterate v.

I've long been a fan of Iterate over Lisp's built-in Loop. In addition to being much more lispy, Iterate is extensible. I also want to revive Cover, a code-coverage tool originally written in pre-ANSI Lisp by Dr. Richard C. Waters.

But looking at the example above, there's not much difference between declaring our faq function this way vs. declaring it as a stand alone function. Granted, it's not in the global namespace, but we could have just as easily added it to a namespace of our own.
