I love Lady Slippers.. in Nova Scotia . where I grew up .. when I was little I used to pick them ..but I didnt know that they were part of the orchid family and taked forever to flower . .I was only 4 5 6 years old … I believe they are protected now ..hopefully parents will tell their kids that they are not to be picked...
