The Lhasa Apso needs to be brushed once a day to keep its long coat from matting; some owners opt to cut the coat teddy bear-short for easier grooming. Check the feet for matting and for foreign matter stuck there, and be sure to keep the eyes clean, as they are susceptible to infection.

Brush your Lhasa Apso coat in layers. Lay the dog on his back or side, ... Barrettes and Latexbands are the weraing tools for keeping the hairfall behind the eyes, myself I do use Latexbands, simple because my other dogs like to chew on the barrettes or make it a game for chasing the ones who bear barrettes.....!
