BTW if you go to Google images and put in "lion dung," you get lots of links to this "Silent Roar" product pictured here. It is described as "non toxic pellets soaked in essence of lion dung, dried and then sterilised" and it will keep naughty neighborhood cats away from pooping in your flower beds.

Well, the lion dung pellets do seem to work. Since spreading them, I've only once found Evidence of an unwanted Visitor in the "communal loo" area of my front garden (under my pine tree, where the earth is tantalisingly dry and sandy), and that was after I had disturbed the earth so that some of the pellets got "buried".
