My favorite verse in the Bible is Mark 9:24, which ends with the phrase, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" That pretty well sums up my spiritual journey. We readily acknowledge this to be the work of the Holy Spirit and are born again of the Spirit, all Christians must have this certainty. I can’t tell you how often I have prayed that (I believe Lord, help my unbelief). I think it’s because I believe enough to realize how much more there is, and how much I want/need it. It’s as though I have a glimpse of what is out there, and it’s breathtaking, and I don’t quite have it yet.
