Nobody complains about ping anymore anyway, about 80 - 99% of online gamers have their own high speed connections. This is almost like the Fatal1ty crap all being advertised as being better and faster when in reality its the same crap with some loser's face on it.

Whenever anyone talks about running Gigabit Ethernet to the desktop, I'm reminded of the Mel Brooks science-fiction parody "Spaceballs." You know, the scene where the evil Dark Helmet, in hot pursuit of his prey, orders his men to push their spacecraft to its utmost limit, all the way to "ludicrous speed."
