Does anyone know if you let off lead in time will he come back or not because they have that chasing rabbits or anything in them. Thank you Chris ; Pat comments: You can certainly train lurchers to come back. They do have a reputation for hunting but if you have any trouble with recall etc.

hi, im new here, i have worked lurchers for a number of years its not at all bad that you dont want to work your dog, you do with your pet what works for you both, its still getting exercise so it makes no odds its not going out chasing rabbits...

I had three dogs with me, but no British quarry requires such a pack chasing it.

For instance a lurcherman who hunts rabbits on land where there is plenty of cover might very well opt for a bedlington whippet lurcher, while the lurcherman hunting the same land for fox could very well use a bedlington greyhound...
