Its all to do with testosterone. If I had that much testosterone by weight as a lyrebird, Id make a noise like construction equipment too. ... I have to say this: I have lyrebirds on my property, I know each bird and each one has a particular style. The females Do call but the males are louder and have a bigger repetoire.
