I try to switch my long distance to MCI's Neighborhood plan ... I call the other number and SBC says that they have a competitive service to MCI's Neighborhood plan that is actually cheaper. I could not be more annoyed, for them not having told me this to begin with. I subscribe to that service and the DSL service.

I have been a valued MCI customer since June. In July, the company started sending me two different bills. I am under the Neighborhood plan and pay a flat rate of $65.95 for unlimited long distance and I only have one telephone line in my home.

I gave in to a telemarketer who was selling the MCI Neighborhood Plan. I was blind to red flags that were going up in my head that day. Why would I trust a telemarketer now? The Neighborhood plan sounded like an excellent deal, $49.95 a month unlimited local and unlimited long distance.
