Nonononnooooo it is possible; I've done it before; And chmod +x gives everyone permission to execute a file. I don't want everyone executing mah files! ... You can make it executable with; chmod +x filename; Of course that is assuming the file WILL execute in Linux. If you are making a windows program it won't work.
