Originally I had a box springs and mattress which fit inside the shell. I went to Mattress Giant on 9/1/08 and because of my custom bed, I requested a full size set that was 14 1/2" from bottom to top. Michael told me that I could not use a box springs as they only came 9 1/2" deep.

After three nights not being able to sleep on the hard rock of a mattress, we called Mattress Giant and this is when we learned about the dual purpose mattress--shame on us!! I really had no idea. We flipped the mattress and now my wife feels and sleeps as I did for three nights.

I called the Ceo of Mattress Giant and spoke to the assistance to the Ceo Ida and she was just as rude as the rest of the employees that I have dealt with she advised me I will get it this week. I also told her about my experience and she just didn't care and said she would do nothing else about my problem.
