Dear day of no return; Let me put it in short for you. Meritocracy in Singapore is overrated and a farce. It's fast turning in to elitism. Sincerely; If meritocracy is really being practised in Singapore, then the Lee family must be genetically superior beings with IQ levels way above other Singapore Citizens.

I believe meritocracy is widely practised in Singapore and the leaders that you have today are most probably the best of the lots that are available. I do not think they are necessarily the best in the world though.
