I liked the movie with a lot of admieration and i can't wait for the third movie "Mimic: Sentinel" currently Filming in Romania and i'm going to be the first one to get it when it comes to DVD early next year. Watch "Mimic 2" You won't regret it!

The main problem with Mimic is that while the build-up of suspense is effective, the ending is a bit of an anti-climax. Still, I think the movie is worth the matinee fare if getting scared appeals to you as a form of entertainment.

MIMIC goes to prove that you can have good actors (Mira Sorvino, F. Murray Abraham, Charles Dutton, Giancarlo Giannini), good direction (Guillermo Del Toro: CHRONOS, EL ESPINAZO DEL DIABLO, BLADE 2, HELLBOY) good looking critter designs and good production and set designs and STILL have a goofy movie if the script stinks.

Alas, someone forgot to point out that he smells like all the other humans and would have been eaten immediately if the movie had bothered to follow its own logic. If only there were a stench for stupidity, "Mimic's" reek could keep moviegoers away in droves.
