I am demonstrating the beaver float set at the Idaho Trappers Association Convention, I think in 1988 or 89. The tip of the V is held together from the underside with a 2X6 cut to fit and nailed on the bottom, this also supports the scent mound ... You can also make this in a smaller version for mink and lure accordingly.
