My family and I rapelled into moaning caverns. I am a 57 year old woman who exercises several times a week. I could stand to lose a few more pounds. However, I wanted to join my husband and grown children crawling around in the caves.

My wonderful bf knowing my geek tendencies and my love for adventure decided to surprise me with a trip to Moaning Caverns. We decided to do the 3 hour ADVENTURE TOUR w/Rappel ($130/person). I found myself rappelling into a cavern 165 feet below ground.

We had the chance to go caving at moaning caverns. It was a lot of fun and we we got an inside look into an adventure sports business. The trip began with a 180 ft rappel down into the cave. Then the group crawled and struggled through several portions of the cave.
